Meet Kika

Kika came to us from a local resident who was nearing their end of options for her, and was nearly about to put her to sleep due to her aggression towards household members.  Her story began as a pet cat for the man's mother who had to be transferred to an assisted living facility for health reasons.  He took Kika in, but she would scratch and bite at people and not allow anyone to be near her.  They tried to find a new home for her but had no luck and were considering euthanizing her till someone mentioned us.  We took her in, and it took a long time to earn and gain her trust, but she will now come up to us and get pets and even allow us to pick her up!
