Meet Coal

Coal is an 8 year old OTTB (Off Track Thorough Bred).  He came to us from a well-respected horse trainer after it was learned he has a rather severe case of Kissing Spine, making him unable to be ridden.  Fearing Coal would be purchased by an owner who might try and ride him, hurting him in the process, his former owner Heather made a difficult decision to rehome him where he would be safe.  We are honored that she chose us to be that location.  Coal is a big strong beautiful horse, and although he can't be ridden anymore he is a great addition to our herd and makes an excellent companion for our Veterans and First Responders in our support program.
